Play.tm recently interviewed associate producer Dan Sutton, who briefly mentioned Saints Row 3.
The last game had a very ‘open’ ending. Can we expect something similar with SR2?
Well, we knew a lot of people were upset with the last one because they were playing it and it was like “oh gosh, I’ve got to wait for the next one”, but in SR2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We’ve already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can’t talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There’s no frustration.
So… Saints Row 3 will take a very new direction?
I think so, yes.
the story of Saints row is amazing. they just need to resolve it right in SR3
saints row 3 will be more custimazation and there will be more better stuff like ice quadbike and stuff but in this one there will be 120 mission so as chapters on a different mode called saints row academy mode and you will be able to play sports like basketball dogeball and tennis so as mini golf you will be able to go on a computer like grand theft auto but you can do more on this one like internet order clothes order cars order houses and find someone to go on a date with theres a lot more you can do in saints row 3
you should be able to costomise helecopters and boats in this one like a helipad on top of rim jobs or somthing
Well Saints Row 2 was awesome But i hope they do some modifications in saints Row 3 for example: a modified AK-74
modified RPG modified Tank with some cool nasty Rocketlaunchers on board about twenty rockets at least

well i think what saints row 3 should have good achievements for 360 and there should be able to play as other characters too and carlos’s is brother should join ur new gang to help utake down the
3 rd street saints and dex but dex should get killed and u should end up with shaudi and pirece

I think on saintsrow 3 u should b able 2 go on dates and stuff and just live ur life how ever u want, and like on saintsrow 2 I didn’t realy like it when all u could do was buy like a condo or a penthouse, I mean that’s cool and all but if ur gonna have a penthouse add more customizations to it and also through in a mansion or two in the game and a two car garage and like the extra doors that are in the house u should b able to go inside them. Make it soooo realistic:)
I think SR3 should have more stuff like an extra island off of Stilwater with a desert or a forrest/jungle. It also should have better Hair Styles Cause SR2’s wern’t the best. And thier should be more gangs around, instead of 3 (Ex-cluding Ultor). Also, you should have girlfriends/boyfriends. And you should have some stuff that GTA dosen’t have, like Surfing or Skateboarding. Also, the Underground gang base (forgot the name) should be customizable.
your right there should be better haircuts and there should also be more voices instead of just an english guy a black guy or a mexican like there be a hippy and a normal guy and some other voices.
I hope the pc version will not be as bad as the originial port
Saints Row 3 should include more customizations. For instance:
*There should be as much customizations for a character’s body as there are for faces. One could make a muscular character with a beer belly, a short or tall character, a busty or flat chested female character, a fat guy with skinny legs, ect.
*There should be more voice choices than the six that were provided in Saints Row 2. There should be more types of voices too. Think about a charcter that sounds like Screech or Bill & Ted or the Band Camp Girl
*There should be options to customize planes, helicopters, boats, and even parachutes.
*There should be options to buy houses and mansions along with apartments and penthouses. There should be options to buy things such as art, furniture, pools, musical instuments and appliances. These items should be usable in the game.
*It would be cool if one could for alliances with some gangs.
*There should be an option to form relationships with people in the game besides members of one’s gang.
*There should be nudity.
*There should be more clothes options with a way to customize one’s own words or pictures onto certain clothing such as t-shirts.
*There should be a way to interact with people hanging out out one’s homes and there should be a choice as to who can be included into one’s homes.
They need to have cameos like GTA SA did. You could see various people who look like Tupac or The Muthaphukkin E himself. Since the first DLCs story was kinda dropped off you should fly to a new city kill Dex and come back and everyones a zombie or something like that. IDK LOL

I liked saints row 1 & 2 a lot.The Gang Styles from saints row 1 were

When I saw the styles in saints row 2 & It was a big let down.Why this *** ass prettyboy style.It was funny the gang style was called Gangster because thats not gangster. What happed to the hip-hop,cholo gang styles.I did like the mafia look though but call it mobster. Take Gang Styles examples from GTA San Andreas & GTA 4
like from The Vagos,Ballas,Varrio Los Aztecas,& Grove St.Families
& those gang bangers from GTA 4. Look at gangs styles from the West

Some new features they need to put into saints row 3:
1. First of all, get rid of the pretty boy gimmick that was in SR 2.
2. Keep Wacky gameplay & add realistic graphics, I want my Gangster (precisely a cholo) to look as realistic as possible, not cartoony like SR2 & being able to name your character.
3. Being able to choose your character’s orientation, Straight, Gay, Bisexual etc. have girlfriends if straight. have boyfriends if gay, depending on your orientation you will be able to do certain Hilarious activities that are lol funny like stripping or sex.
4. Nudity
5. More Voices to choose from, I really hated the fact that you could only choose a British voice for a white man, add american white street voice in SR 3, you should also be able to change the pitch of your character’s voice too.
6. Please, please more tattoo options, most of the tats in SR 2 were just terrible, I would like more realistic choices especially on Cholo/Chicano tattoos if you create a cholo (Mexican).
7. Being able to customize how oily your character appears to be.
8. Being able to do optional activities like working out at the gym, protagonist getting the opportunity playing with himself etc.
9. Being able to have a job/career beside your gangster life, you can choose many different jobs: Janitor, Constuction worker, Rapper, Rock artist, Stripper, Cashier, Pizza Delivery etc.
10. Add gangs that have similar styles to those that were in GTA San Andreas with the gangsta bandanas etc.
11. This next city should be based off of Miami, or LA, or both combined into one.
there should be more gangs
well actually i have a list here it goes 1.u should be able to go to prison and have missions to do while inside but if u dont want to stay in jail there shoul be a spot that says do your time 2.more options i want to make a badass whiteboy and to do that there needs to be more heavy metal like clothes like leather vests also more tattos be more specific make where u can get face tats and head tats also instead of just single arm tats and fullsleve make it single half sleeve full sleve and **** like that and more music u need to bring the hardcore seen to saintsrow make it more dirty put in music like slipknot pantera lamb of god and definatly some ****** norwegian death metal and if u do put in rap make sure u put in good **** like nwa pharcyde and **** like that dont put in ***** stuff that talks about wannabie gangsters ***** every dam thing they see 3. make more gangs so u can form aliances and make it where u can change more stuff about your gang like their banner and maybe enen their name like iwant a gang with their gang colors black and red and got leather vests and **** loads of tats 4. make it where u can have legitamite ways to earn 5. maybe make it were u can buy land and grow drugs and also make it where u can find people to sell drugs and guns to 6. nudity saintsrow has always bin extreme dont let the man bring u down 7.make more activitys like illegal gambiling bank robbing and maybe terriost like missions 8. i dont know why but u should make it where u can smoke a blunt and im not talking about a few hits make it where u can be in a gun fight ***** blazin and if u get to have a new city in the game make it a mixture of memphis compton and chicago that would be the meaning of the ***** projects
i was disappointed about saints row 2 because the online play didnt have gang matches, gang matches was the fun part of saints row, so on my apinion saints row 3 should have gang matches online just like how saints row 1 was, just more extra things to do. plzzzzzzzz that will really bring the fun back to saints row. sincere xBIGx Bayjizil.
i think it would be bad ass if you like got knocked out or whatever like in the helicopter you fly out of on sr2 and you make your own gang like name and eveything cause im tired of purple

SR3 Should have better vehicle handling and more customization on vehicles, enter more buildings and better characters for the game and your own customization.
Look these ppl have enough sugar honey ict-t to do with out all of you in put so let them make the damn game cuz half the sugar honey ice-t aint gonna show up i the game. So instead of the old gang styles from GTA SA say SR1 gang styles. a few new cities yeah new styles of coustom cars maybe even helichoppters and boats and **** but custom parachutes WTF kinda ****** are you.

More upto date music. Why because your making a game for this day and age who the hell still rides around and listen to music from the 80’s and 90’s. I do on my xbox so how’s bout a wa to upload you own music on to the game that way when you get into and out of a car your still playing and you dont have to listen to whats on the game radio.
Old school stye of gang cloths- why because although the styles were
good in SR2 COMBAINE the two game styles and FCK gta anything.
harder game play - because there is alot of us who like a changlle forget all that pick your difficulty crap.
Be able to walk into and out of any buliding or store the invite ppl into your house thing is good but thts you house.
yeh interact with the whole game enviroment not just the members of the gang around you.
as matter fact you should beable to no onger control the BC or MC because he has proven himself to the erntire city of Stillwaters and to the 3RD ST Saints SO TAKE HIM OUT OF THE LOOP AND BE able to put yourself into the gang like a third party hitman or something and do all the Saints dirty laundry for them.
Because the game is taking a new spin well taking him out of the loop will get you there. because Gats been out of the loop since SR1 AND YOUR THE BOss and your doing all the work lets take it to any feel more of a GOD FATHERS FEEL. Why because iF GTA HAS SO MANY REAL FANS YOU MFERS WOULDNT BE ON THIS PAGE ASKING FOR ****.

i think sr3 should be way beter than 1 and 2 they just get boring after a while like you can only buy a penthouse it should be realistic to go out and buy furniture and clothes and cars and go on dated and create your own house to suite your own lifestlye it and instead of making it 3 gangs you should make it like 10 gangs like real life gangs and you should be able to make the charectors yourself for your own gang
I’d have to say that I would love for there to be some actual choices for you to make as a player instead of there being a single script that your character has to repeat every time that you play the game and give it some re-play value!
There should also be able to create in-game relationships which will bare onchange the options of game play.
I would also like it if we could choose how to set up and customize our gangs. Maybe dex has taken over the saints and you have to shut him down with a whole new crew. Maybe you don’t want to be a banger. Maybe you’d like to be an irish gang from jersey or part of the dixie mafia. Just some thoughts.

Things i want for saints row 3
saints row 2 character import.
be able to get a code for each character you make so you can use that modle again in a new game ( like mass effect 2 has)
ability to import music to your cars radio
coop mode to be at least 6 players to give the gang feel amongst online friends
alot more hair styles, clothing, tatoo, and piercing options
most of the tats in 2 sucked and the clothing was tough for female characters to not look like hos in.
also
PLEASE HAVE GUNBELTS AND HOLSTERS
We need better voices i liked the mexican chick voice but that was all i used i want more voices on girls and guys we need a guy who talks like a regular white guy or a regular white girl voice youve already got he acents and uneducated voices in the second one but thats all you have and its terrible for most gamers who wanna make their favorite star or something because seriously when have you ever heard bruce willis talk with an aussie accent or like a gang banger? regular voices are needed.
or have it so we can select other characters voices. if we can make asians, mexicans whites and blacks lets heard some variety
to make it cheep have the voice actors do their monologues twice
once regular and once ghetto gangster talk.
better weapons. the ak 47 is a classic but we need some real gangsta weapons and some modern military weapons again
HOLSTERS ARE DEFINATLY NEEDED
ALSO we have furnature in the game right? how about letting us use it i wana lay on my bed, sit in my chairs, get a beer from the fridge all of that stuff
we need a sort of command menu on one of the controller buttons we dont use to pop up a motion menu such as dance, smoke a cigarette, lay down in the place you are standing, hug/kiss/high five/ shake hands with a npc or online friend.
